Durfee track & field star Shakira Cadet continued her impressive, record-breaking season by taking first place at the 2022 MIAA Meet of Champions held at Westfield State University. Cadet took first place with a jump of 38’11.5″. The distance was good enough to set a new schools record. The distance also qualifies her to compete at nationals.
